How to operate the surface flammability tester

The fabric surface burning performance tester is designed with the latest technology and is suitable for measuring the fabric surface burning time of fluffy textiles. There are different accessories for GB/T 8745-2001 Textiles and ISO 10047:1993 Textiles Fabric Surface Burning Time Determination.

The following is the specific operation method

Sample preparation: According to the test standard, cut the sample of appropriate size and shape, and ensure that the state of the sample meets the test requirements.

Instrument debugging: Turn on the power, open the gas valve, adjust the gas pressure and flow rate, so that the flame height meets the specified requirements. At the same time, set the burner movement speed, burning time and other parameters as needed.

Installation of the sample: Fix the sample on the sample fixture and place the fixture in the test position.

Ignition and testing: Use an electronic lighter to ignite the flame, and the burner moves on the surface of the sample in the set mode and speed to perform a combustion test on the sample. During this process, the timer automatically records the burning time and other data.

Observation and recording: During the test, closely observe the combustion of the sample through the observation window, including the flame spread speed, the degree of damage to the sample, etc., and record the relevant data.

End of the test and evaluation: After the test, turn off the gas valve and power supply, and remove the sample. According to the test standard, evaluate the combustion of the sample and determine the surface flammability level of the material.
