The Mask Leak testing device is used to simulate the ratio of the concentration of the simulated agent leaked into the mask when the subject inhales to the concentration of the simulated agent in the test environment outside the respirator mask under the specified laboratory test environment. It can also be used for leakage test of protective clothing.

Total leakage rate (total leakage rate) refers to the ratio of the concentration of simulant leaking into the mask from all mask components including filter elements when the subject inhales to the concentration of simulant in the test environment outside the respirator mask.

Test conditions for leakage of respirator:

1. 10 persons with head and face sizes shall be selected for wearing test according to the adaptation range of each mask, and the subjects shall shave off their beards. The mask should be worn to the extent that the subject feels appropriate, and the headband adjustment should not be too tight or too loose.

2. Detect the concentration of particulate matter in the test bin.

3. The filtering rate of the filter for oil mist is higher than 99.997%. If the manufacturer does not have the filter for oil mist filtering efficiency, it is allowed to replace it with a filter with higher than 99.997% during the test.
