FAQ

1. What is this machine?

It is a fatigue testing machine for wheelchairs, used to simulate road conditions and evaluate durability.

2. What is it used for?

It tests the wear resistance of manual and electric wheelchairs under repeated rolling conditions and monitors any damage to the wheelchair structure.

3. How does it work?

The wheelchair is placed on dual rollers, which rotate at controlled speeds. Obstacles simulate road conditions, while PLC touch screen control sets the rotation or distance mode. Safety sensors stop the machine if abnormal contact occurs.

4. Why is it important?

It ensures wheelchairs meet durability standards and helps manufacturers verify design and structural performance under realistic conditions.

5. Which wheelchairs can be tested?

Manually operated wheelchairs, user-controlled or caregiver-controlled, and indoor/outdoor electric wheelchairs with up to two driving wheels and speeds under 5 km/h.
