Introduction
The Floor Castor Abrasion Tester (Floor Castor Abrasion Resistance Tester), also known as the Floor Castor Wear Durability Tester, Floor Small Castor Friction Durability Tester, or Floor Castor Effect Determination Instrument, is widely used to evaluate the castor wear resistance of flooring materials.
Under specified castor size, rotation speed, load, and motion trajectory, the castors rub against the flooring specimen. After the preset number of test cycles is completed, the machine stops automatically for observation of specimen changes and evaluation of wear resistance performance.
The equipment features cumulative cycle counting, presettable cycle numbers, adjustable dwell time under load, and other functions.

Functional Principle
An 800 mm diameter steel turntable is covered with a 7 mm plastic layer. The specimen diameter is 750 mm, and the platform rotates at 20 rpm.
Three castors press on the specimen with a total load of 90 kg. The castors rotate at 50 rpm. After the platform rotates for 180 seconds, it pauses for 5 seconds and then reverses direction. This cycle repeats automatically until the preset number of cycles is reached.

Working Principle
The castor abrasion tester controls a movable and adjustable chair castor assembly. Resilient flooring and laminated floor coverings are placed on the test platform.
The equipment drives the castors to act on the flooring specimen and perform repeated back-and-forth friction under self-weight. After the specified test time or number of cycles is reached, the machine stops automatically. The specimen is then removed for inspection of changes.
