You can wash with a 25% ammonia solution. You can also soak your clothes in 3% salt water for a few minutes, rinse with clean water and wash with detergent. Sweat stains on silk, wool and mixed textiles can be removed by washing with citric acid. Finally, rinse with clean water. To remove sweat stains and mildew, the new stains can be removed by brushing the surface with a soft brush and then wiping with alcohol. When removing old stains, apply dilute lye or dilute ammonia to the stain and then scrub a few moments later.
