The UV Aging Test Chamber simulates the effects of sunlight by using a fluorescent UV lamp to simulate the effects of sunlight. It takes a few days or weeks to reproduce the damage that occurs over months or years outdoors. Types of damage include: fading, discolouration, loss of light, chalking, cracking, flaking, cloudiness, bubbling, brittleness, loss of strength, deterioration and oxidation.
The UV Aging Test Chamber is used in the paint, ink, resin, plastics, printing and packaging, adhesives, automotive and motorbike industries, cosmetics, metals, electronics, electroplating and pharmaceuticals.
Note that the equipment is not:
1) testing or storage of flammable, explosive or volatile substances ②) testing or storage of corrosive substances
③ Testing or storage of biological specimens
④Testing or storage of specimens with strong electromagnetic emission sources.
