BS4569 Surface Burning Tester for Plush Fabrics

BS4569 Surface Flammability Tester for Plush Fabrics is used to test the flame resistance of plush fabrics and to determine the burning time of textile fabrics with a plush surface (e.g. pile, terry, tufting, etc.).

Main uses.

Surface flammability tester/BS4569 Plush fabric surface Flammability Tester is used to test the flame retardant properties of plush fabrics and to determine the burning time derived from textile fabrics with plush surfaces (e.g. pile, terry, tufting, etc.).

Main features.

1、Electrical heating wire ignition.

2. Automatic timing and positioning of the burner.

3、Gas used: industrial butane or propane or butane/propane gas mixture.

Technical parameters.

1、Specimen holder: 150mm long x 75mm wide

2、Frame marking line: 75mm below the ignition point of the specimen

3、Ignition time: 0～99.99 seconds any setting

4、Flame height measuring device: flame height 40±2mm

5、The distance of the igniter tip from the surface of the specimen holder: 15mm

6、Size of specimen：150mm×75mm

7、Ignition time 0~99.99 seconds can be set arbitrarily. Burning time is automatically recorded and digitally displayed.
