1. The role of rubber type.
(1) Double bond content: the higher the double bond content of the rubber, the stronger its ozone aging resistance;
(2) double bond carbon atom substituent properties: electron-absorbing substituents reduce double bond reactivity and ozone reactivity; electron substituents increase electron cloud density and improve double bond reactivity and ozone reactivity. ozone aging resistance of CR, BR and NR is CR>BR>NR.

3. Effect of stress and strain: ozone attacks the rubber surface, surface aging, and ozone oxide film is formed on the surface. The ozone oxide film is hard and fragile, which prevents ozone from penetrating into the interior. However, under dynamic conditions, the aging film tends to break, and the ozone reacts with the rubber, resulting in rupture. Low elongation leads to fewer cracks, faster crack expansion and deeper cracks, while high elongation leads to more cracks, slower crack expansion and shallower crack expansion.
4. Effect of temperature:As the air temperature increases, the aging response of Ozone Aging Chamber accelerates.
