QS-UV Accelerated Weathering Tester
The UV Aging Test Chamber is one of the most widely used Aging Testers™ in the world. His main function is to test the durability of plastics, coatings and other materials when exposed to outdoor sunlight, heat and water.
Ultraviolet rays are the cause of almost all photodegradation of durable materials exposed outdoors. The fluorescent lamp of the UV Aging Test Chamber simulates critical short-wave ultraviolet light, which truly reproduces the physical damage caused by sunlight. Damage types include discoloration, loss of gloss, chalking, cracking, cracking, fogging, blistering, embrittlement, strength loss and oxidation.
Dew, not rain, is responsible for most of the humidity in outdoor exposure. The condensation system of the QUV UV test box realistically simulates dew and uses elevated temperatures to accelerate its effects.
The ordinary tap water used in the automatic purification system during the condensation process. This is because the process of evaporating and condensing water onto the sample is actually a distillation process, which removes all impurities.
The UV Aging Test Chamber can easily accommodate up to 48 samples (75mm × 150mm), and it complies with various international, national and industry specifications to ensure the reliability and repeatability of your test procedures. Visit our standards page for more information.
Easy to operate
The simple, proven design of the UV Aging Test Chamber makes it easy to install, easy to use and almost maintenance-free. It runs fully automatically, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Features include:
Dual touch screen user interface, easy operation and programming in eight user-selectable languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
Continuous display of exposure conditions
Multi-color LED lights to quickly "see" the status of the tester
Self-diagnosis warning and service reminder
Fast calibration using the patented AUTOCAL system
Economical
The purchase and operation of UV Aging Test Chamberare very economical, because it uses:
Low-cost, long-life fluorescent UV lamps
Ordinary tap water for condensation
