Nonwovens Liquid Loss Tester

The Nonwovens Liquid Loss Tester is designed to evaluate the liquid run-off performance of nonwoven fabrics using a specified test liquid, such as simulated urine. It helps assess how much liquid runs off a nonwoven specimen under controlled test conditions, supporting the evaluation of liquid management performance in absorbent hygiene materials.
During testing, the nonwoven specimen is placed over a standard absorbent medium on an inclined test table. A controlled volume of test liquid is applied to the specimen in a continuous stream. The resulting liquid run-off is evaluated according to the selected test procedure.
The instrument features a dedicated inclined test table, a specimen fixture, controlled liquid delivery, and timed testing. An optional weighing system can be used for quantitative assessment of liquid run-off. It is suitable for nonwoven material development, laboratory testing, and quality control.
Application
(1) Nonwoven materials used in diapers and other absorbent hygiene products.
(2) Topsheet and coverstock materials for personal-care products.
(3) Nonwovens used in feminine hygiene products.
(4) Nonwoven materials used in adult incontinence products.
(5) Liquid management and repellency evaluation of hydrophilic and hydrophobic nonwovens.
(6) Nonwoven material research, product development, and quality control.
